Oreo Ice Cream Cake

  • 2 gal. ice cream, chocolate chip (or favorite)
  • Chocolate sauce to taste
  • 9 x 12 inch cake pan
  • 1 reg. pack of Oreos
  • 1 reg. carton Cool Whip
  • 2 tbsp. butter, melted
  • Crush Oreos and add melted butter.
  • Cover bottom of pan with cookie crumbs, leaving some to sprinkle on top later.
  • Spread softened ice cream over cookie crumbs.
  • Add some chocolate sauce on top.
  • Then spread Cool Whip.
  • Freeze for 1 hour.
