4 pieces of whole-grain pita bread
1/4 cup olive oil
any other seasoning you could just die for on a pita chip: parmesan cheese, garlic, italian spices, red pepper flakes, oh ya!!!!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stack the four pitas. Cut into quarters then again into eights. Place the pita pieces on a cookie sheet in a single layer. Drizzle with 1/4 cup olive oil. Using your hands, toss the pita pieces to cover with oil. Next, sprinkle with your favorite seasonings. Toss with your hands again to cover each piece with the seasonings. Bake in the preheated oven for 7 minutes. Take the cookie sheet out of the oven and flip each chip. Bake for an additional 7 minutes. At the point, the chips should be almost done. (Mine were actually ready at this point.) Turn off the oven and let them set in the oven for another 30-45 minutes. Keep the yummy chips in an airtight container.
