Angie’s Stuffed Peppers

This recipe is from the best cook I know– my mom!

Ingredients:

  • 4 bell peppers
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 3/4 cup rice
  • 1 tablespoon Frank’s Red Hot Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons yellow mustard
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • salt to taste

Preparation Instructions:

Cut tops off peppers. Clean out seeds and membranes. Mix together beef, rice, hot sauce, ketchup, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and salt. Stuff mixed ingredients into peppers. Spread tomato paste on top of ground beef mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 45-60 minutes. Cover for 1/2 of the cooking time.
